An image of the old, removed building ui.
Show old UI was a removed feature that was previously leftover from the building UI revamp.
It was used for people who were used to the old UI rather than the new UI.
It's appearance was a small persimmon rectangular button with the text "Show Old UI."
Once clicked, parts of the old UI would appear, such as:
- Change material
- Block type
- Change block size
The show old ui button had a lifespan from around July 31, 2019, to November 13, 2019.

It's unknown why this feature has been removed, as the owner of Blockate, fewkz, has never explained why.
Initially following the removal of the old ui, the previous system where you had to press the < and > buttons in the old UI:
- Q and E - Previous color, next color.
- Z and X - Previous material, next material.
- F and G - Previous size, next size.
- Shift + F and Shift + G - Previous shape, next shape. (Newly added after old UI was removed, but has since been removed)
Ever since these initial controls changes have been made, newer, more sophisticated keybinds have been added, making these older changes less prominent.
