==Speculations and Theories== |

Many users suggested that Blockate was shut down for being a copy of Blocklr or for just being too similar to Roblox, but these claims were radical and not very credible. This is not a good suggestion because the owner of Blocklr said he didn't care about others copying his idea. |
Another theory is that Blockate's head developer, Fewkz, had broke Roblox terms of service and got Blockate shut down; However this theory was also not very credible. Fewkz also didn't get banned in this period. |

Another theory is that it was shut down because of a popular game using copyrighted material from the Pokemon Franchise, although it was debunked. |
According to Twitter, the Blockate team were trying to “Make The Game Playable Again”. |
What really put it under review was that Roblox found off-site links in worlds (Discord, Twitter etc.) and it was fixed due to fox proving that it wasn't him and he would put more moderation on the game. |
Blockate became public again on September 30th, 2019. |
