Effects are particle emitters than can be added to a specified side of a block. They are added using the '''!effect''' command. An effect block.

Effects are particle emitters than can be added to a specified side of a block. They are added using the !effect command. Apply effects by hovering your mouse over the side of a block then using the command. Particles will be emitted from that side. Custom decals or presets can be applied. The particles can be modified in many different ways with the commands listed in this article.

Effect Commands

  • !effect (preset name/id) [side] - Sets the effect coming off the specified side, or the side your mouse is over, of the target block. The effect can either be a decal/image id, or an effect name
  • !effect size (size) [side] - Sets the size of the effect coming off the specified side, or the side your mouse is over, of the target block. (size) has a max of 100, minimum of 0.5, and a default of 1.
  • !effect color (brickcolor) [side] - Sets the color of the effect coming off the specified side, or the side your mouse is over, of the target block.
  • !effect color (r) (g) (b) [side] - Sets the color of the effect coming off the specified side, or the side your mouse is over, of the target block. The default is 255, 255, 255.

Presets

The current presets are smoke, fire, wheat, grass, grasstall, plant, drip, and sparkles. The decals for all action blocks can also be used. For example, you could use tele, kill, mtele and sign. Presets are common and convenient decals used for effects. They can be used in the place of an image/decal ID in the !effects command.

  • Effects were added in the Effect Update on October 6th, 2018.

  • The smoke block was the first effect block in Blockate. It showcased effects in the Blockate Hub before effects were ever added.
